Title: Raid on West Rottington 1472
Post by: Norm on 14 February 2023, 08:14:57 AM
Following his humiliation on New Year Day, when Yorkist forces raided Beacan farm and stole winter feed, Lord Darcy has launched a counter raid against Lord Trebian at West Rottington, to recover the feed and perhaps a little more!

There is an update on the blog as to the latest exploits of the Piggy Longton magnate ...... and its possible consequences!

Just had a read of the shenanigans in Piggy Bottom, great stuff! Particularly handsome is Piggy Bottom's parish church, unless I'm much mistaken, the old Airfix Trackside model?

It is indeed the Dapol kit, complete with warped back wall that was straightened out with the old hot water trick :-)

Nice AAR!

Is there a section in the blog where you talk about the base sizes and etc? Because it looks great.

Thanks all for taking the time to give a thumbs up.

There is a post that talks about basing here LINK

http://battlefieldswarriors.blogspot.com/2020/09/basing-thoughts-for-bosworth_23.html

Basically, all of the bases are 80mm wide and

50 deep for archers
60 deep for melee troops
80mm deep for cavalry.
