Does anyone have comparison pics of Perry vs Empress mounted AZW British (28mm)?
Style-wise the horses look quite different.
Would a mixed unit work?
Thanks.

Not AZW but Second Anglo Afghan War link here- some good size comparisons from the brilliant, Maiwand Day blog:

A useful link thank you. So a little difference in size and style but not much, I'll get some on order and post some pics.

I don't own any Empress Cavalry so I can't really help except to provide the links. It would be great to see some better comparison shots if you do order some(?)

Hi London calling. In answer to your enquiry find attached some pictures of my British AZW cavalry.
The painted models are Empress on E Bob horses and the as yet unpainted are Perry Miniatures:
Models depicted are the Natal carabiners and Imperial Mounted Infantry.
I think they mix well, but the E Bob horses are slightly more dynamic in appearance.

Another source you could look at is Rapier Miniatures- they match very well size wise with Empress and Perry.
I actually put some Natal Carabiners on Ebay yesterday.

Must admit I’ve never come across Rapier Miniatures before, they look very nice, with good value unit packs
