Title: Help naming a weird creature.
Post by: Aethelwulf on 16 April 2023, 10:17:36 AM
I need a name for this creature. The main body comes from a toy protoceratops skeleton, the carapace is the carapace of a real dungbeetle I found, the tentacles cometh from a toy octopus, and the jawbones come from a real shrew skeleton I found.

That's a good one, I might use that.

That could be its common name, and Scarasorex could be the scientific name.

Scareasorex wolfus for the scientific name.  (with the added 'e'). That works for me and gives credit to the discoverer (creator).

I'm going to go with Scareasorex Wolfus for the scientific name, and the Dunsmouth Terror for the common name. Thanks everyone for your help, especially FifteensAway and MHoxie.
