Not seen much mention on here, is anyone going? I've not been before or infact to any event, I'm trying to decide of I should, I've seen a couple of traders I'm sure will have something I'm after but since online is so easy and it'll cost me the best part of 50 quid just to get there I'm wondering if there are bargains to be had?

Been to most Salutes in the last 20 years, some have been better than others, always managed to get some bargain or other, but it's also the buzz of all the wargamers in one place, the games and meeting traders face to face.
It's best to have a plan. Are there certain things you want to check out before you buy? A set of rules you are not sure about and want to see in action first?
Things like that. Planning ahead a little will make it a much better day for you.

Thanks for the insight, only thing I've been to that's similar is war and peace, which I thoroughly enjoyed, hoping it is a similar experience for wargamers?
