Title: Anyone know of UK based schools/youth wargames clubs
Post by: telemachus on June 10, 2023, 12:58:46 PM: I have multiple boxes of new, sealed Gangs of Mega City One that i need to get rid of: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/14709/gangs-mega-city-one

I ended up with them years ago (still don't really understand my thought process in aquiring them....) and have sold many over the years but still have boxes full of them in the garage. Rather than selling them on eBay (no real market for them now anyway) I've thought of giving them for free to a youth gaming group. The miniatures are basic but characterful and the game itself is really quite good so it could make a great intro game for new players.

Have been searching for a suitable group but cannot find any. Anyone got any ideas? Happy to ship them for free to a suitable community group.

Post by: Citizen Sade on June 10, 2023, 01:46:14 PM: LAF members mcfonz & Highlandbevan might still be looking for donations for their clubs. IIRC, mcfonz works with children in the care system and Highlandbevan runs a school club.

Yes thank you, figures arrived safely. I will pass them on to the school club.
