Marvellous painting. :-*
Alas, the helmets were apple green* and the trousers field grey in real life, magnificent box artwork on the old Airfix 1/32 set notwithstanding.
* A sort of greenish olive grey. Later in the war they were frequently camouflaged, sand coloured in North Africa for instance.
