Great looking game.  How did Sword and Spear handle such as large game?  I'm more of a Hail Caesar guy.

Worked great, we gave the crusaders all the same coloured dice (Red), But also six extra white dice, one for each commander. If they drew any white dice from the bag as part of their allocation (13 dice are pulled out of the each phase), The white dice could be used as normal allocation dice or to move the supply train an extra D6 in inches! The Turks had two different colour dice (Blue and Black) , one colour for each command.

I have since played a larger game, 6 player (85 - 90 dice, 1 dice pre unit), But we played it as three separate games, but could attack enemy either side, and went through each complete phase at a time.

Always Marks, A superb set of rules.

We now have about 12 players at my two Clubs, and a few more in the wings, just need to book some tutorials ;)
