While I'm very familiar with making terrain buildings using laser cut MDF models I've never tried to make a model of a tank. My initial impressions of a Mk1 Male tank in MDF from Warbases were not great, but with a bit of perseverance it can make a very presentable gaming piece. I chart the full journey in more detail in a blog post that you can find here: https://thetacticalpainter.blogspot.com/2023/07/warbases-mdf-mk1-male-tank.html
The initial model lacked a lot of detail:

But with a few additions and a paint job it can turn into a more than acceptable gaming piece:

I am not a fan of mdf buildings let alone vehicles but it just goes to show if you make the effort, like you have done, how great they can look. Well done :)

Goo job there.
My friend (Flatpack) has made some very nice wargames vehicles with the MDF kits.
I have never tried. :?

Fantastic work came out a treat and certainly looks the part especially for MDF.

Nice.
What are the gun barrels made from?

What are the gun barrels made from?
Thanks. They were made from styrene tube. I’d have preferred something with more of a taper but just used what I had to hand.

So what are the supplied ones made from?

Rats, forgot to pick one of these up yesterday at Warfare.

Would the Mk 1 still have been in service when the white/red/white flashes were adopted?
