good stuff.

figures have more naturalistic proportions than many a range out there.

Nice looking unit and good use of the swords men, too!

For me the Battle of Rocroi at the end of Alatriste immediately came to mind. A movie and no shields (if I remember correctly), but it seemed quite plausible to me.

Yes, they go together really well.  The 1898 are a tad taller/bigger, but once painted up I struggle to tell them apart!
