Empress PBR
Base lasercut 3mm clear perspex (done by the woodburning Hobbits at Warbases)
Additional stowage from Empress and TAG
Scratchbuilt roof (cos I'm a tw*t and 'lost' the supplied one)

Lovely boat, ya did there!
But that was clickbait. PBR? I thought the post was gonna be about cheap US beer... :D

Looking good!

Very nice.

'PBR Streetgang this is Almighty, do you copy?'
That's an outstanding bit of work and the replacement roof looks the part. :-* :-* :-*

Pretty much all American beer is cheap and nasty and not to stray too far from the topic, reminds one of the old joke about why Bud light is like making love in a canoe*. :D
Pity about Anchor Steam, one of the few drops there I enjoyed. Of course on the downside it propelled the 'craft beer' thang and the over-hopping of beers.
*They are both fucking close to water.

That is lovely Dags (you’d never know about the roof!). I really love how helpful and talented the Warbases bods are - truly a great business run by great people.
I’m sorry CapnJim but I agree with Carlos; I’m highly allergic to alcohol and I can still drink American beer :)

lol Hahaha! Of course, now it is a whole different world. There are microbreweries in most decent sized cities, as well as smaller towns and even tinier. Heck, Cap'n Jim's hamlet even has one! Or was that two? So, discerning Americans like myself can drink anything they'd like, from stouts through brown ales and bocks, on to Marzens, ambers, Kolschs, Helles -- you name it! Unfortunately, many breweries have jumped on the over-hopped bandwagon -- or even worse -- the "sour" trend! :-X :'(

Thanks, Mike. I knew there was a voice of reason out there. But I agree (up to a point) with Carlos and BALM. After being stationed in Germany for 3 years in my younger days, "American Light Lager" doesn't really do it for me...and it's just one brewery here in sunny Blissfield...
But as far as the topic at hand goes, the roof looks just fine. If you hadn't mentioned it, we likely wouldn't have known! :)

Thats a lovely boat, it shows how good it is when you can still see the detail under that cak handed paint job.
Only joking really nice as always lovenuts

Looks the biz mate 8)
Is it for yourself, or a commission?
-
Cheers, all (even Goatboy ;))
@Akky - Commission - luckily (for my bank manager) I've had no time to paint anything for myself this year.

Great work! PBRs are what have always nearly tempted me into Vietnam gaming.

Hey — PBR is a great staple at roller derby after-parties — there isn't a micro-brewery in the country that can make an actual session beer that you can toss several down after a hard fought bout! PBR is a winner.

That Laurence Fishburne on the bow guns?
