Title: Buckaroo Banzai Miniature Hunt - Help
Post by: warrenss2 on 07 November 2009, 02:58:07 AM
I'm looking for some compatible miniatures for representing Buckaroo Banzai and the Hong Kong Cavaliers.

Any recommendations?

Bet him & Doctor Who would have a good adventure together!

Hah, that's hilarious!
Sorry, I can't help you with a mini off the top of my head, but I just saw this a couple of months ago at the 'recommendation' of a friend.  Pretty...classic.

I've been looking for these for a long time (well, since 2006 actually). The only one I've settled on so far is this one for John Parker.

I think either Foundry or West Wind makes a cowboy figure that could work for New Jersey. He even had a nice looking ten gallon hat.

This is Wirelizard's pic of some pulp miniatures...

Think the guy in the brown at the front right could be a Buckaroo?

Oh, I've not seen that show in forever. Definitely a classic. Haven't the faintest clue as to a figure that could work for him but I would prolly mirror warrenss2's suggestion at the lack of anything better.

Saw a picture of one of the more recent Doctor Who miniatures... you know... the one Rose fell in love with... That would make a great Buckaroo Banzai. But, of course, I can't find him now.

Anyone know of whom I'm speaking of?

I'm not into western figures, but wouldn't a good base figure be a cowboy with six guns?
Or a samurai?
Although the suit Dr.Hugh is wearing is spot on!
