To go with my Epic French / Prussian starter armies, I have sketched out three scenarios for the fighting at St. Amand in 1815.
In truth, it is basically one scenario, but it grows to match the growing number of units in my Epic collection, so that by scenario three, we have most of the village represented and the forces that fought over it during a two hour window.
There is a post up over on the blog that details each of the three scenarios and which also offers a brief AAR of a playing of the first scenario.

Nice to see the "other" Hundred Days actions getting some coverage, as they have always intrigued me. When I toured the battlefields in 2014 (I know, a year too early, but we had children in tow and it was only going to get more expensive) I made a particular point of visiting Ligny, Wavre and Plancenoit to get a better "feel" for what the Prussians were up to and the challenges they faced. Plancenoit, especially, was a real eye-opener - nothing like how I had always seen it portrayed on the tabletop (usually billiard-table flat with a big church in the middle and that was it).
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

This is my Plancenoit battlefield. With just a small part of the village represented. This game was actually taken from a slice of action that occured in a boardgame on the subject.

It is so nice to see some Hundred Days Scenarios.

That was intensely interesting as always Norm. (The Plancenoit game) I get really absorbed reading of how you put a lot of work into translating a bit of a boardgame into a tabletop scenario and playing it through.
The game itself was very exciting, shame you couldn't get another couple of turns in, I would have liked to see what happened to those voltigeurs in Plancenoit.
