As Salute is closing (and my list of "have-to-get-mini's " is getting longer) I'm wondering if anybody has tips on what mini's I could use as "Shallow ones".
(deep one hybrids , the term shallow ones came up during one of our cthulhu/b-movie evenings)
The villagers from west wind will make a good addition to the whole almost-normal-villagers with a slightly over-enthousiast sea interest. Its a good start.
Any tips?

heheh, I got the farmer all painted up and waiting for action on the shelf :)
I might look into the em4's ( but I think I'll have to repaint them to make em feel accepted :) )
I do remember a couple of fishermen (one holding a meathook of some sorts) whom look normal but would make a perfect addition. But I can't recall which range.
Thnx for the tips

In looking i did find this guy: PLP023 Mad Jack the lighthouse keeper http://www.artizandesigns.com/details.asp?code=plp023 from Artizan Designs who may be a suitable old deckhand who roams town babbling about the Esoteric Order and looking for whiskey - whose name i can't recall!! Damn!

There's also Brigade Games' Merchant seamen (one pack with guns and one with open hands and a separate weapon sprue):

Rich was, at one point, converting a set of these guys to be Deep One hybrids.

Rich still is. They'll be out next year (which is why I didn't bring it up).

Wow, I have seen them before but totally forgot them.
Looks like excellent quality.
Thanks a lot.
(If I can convert them sufficiently, I'll need a hard bunch of good guys :) )
