Hi. Does anyone know of any good, varied ranges of 15mm figures available in the UK? I’m thinking of doing something based loosely around Lord of The Rings but certainly a generic type medievalesque fantasy setting.

Ral Partha carry the demonworld line which is pretty top notch. There are some good figures in there for lord of the rings, particularly a couple of wizards. Not got much experience with 15mm other than those though.

My favorites.
Ral Partha Demon work is quality as mentioned above.
Explore the Essex line for more generic Medieval. Essex works well well together with DW.
Magister Militum has some good stuff but are smaller. Imagine more like old school minis.
What look are you hoping for? There is Peter Jackson, Saxon Dark Age, and 3rd Crusade?

Tin Soldier's 15mm range (https://tinsoldieruk.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=413_447&sort=8&page=all)might be an acquired taste, but the orcs (and 'giant goblins') are rather Tolkienesque - hunched and squat, with bow legs and arms reaching almost to the ground. They paint up nicely too, and they mix well with other ranges to add the requisite squatness and bow-leggery. There's some other useful stuff in the range too.
Alternative Armies have two pertinent 15mm ranges: the HOT range (some quite Middle-earthy orcs, etc.) and the old Tabletop range, which is very small but has some Tolkienesque gems like this:

Poorly phrased: I meant that the figures are small (the range is quite big!).

Not UK, but Mirliton out of Italy has some nice fantasy lines.
-
Copplestone castings has a nice 15mm fantasy line. Available from Northstar in the UK or Recreational Conflict in the US.

I have a large collection of 15mm. I particularly like the Demonworld range from Ral Partha. It has an old school warhammer feel to it. Essex has some great human miniatures in their medieval range that mix in very nicely. Alternative Armies have a good range, but the sculpting quality is less 'precise' than the afore mentioned.
The 15mm fantasy gaming facebook group is a goodplace to ask for miniature comparisons if you want to have a look.

Warrior miniatures do 15mm Fantasy.

Magister Militum closed shop last week unfortunately, I don't know if any announcements of new homes for their ranges have been made.
Irregular always has interesting things in their catalogue.
I don't know if either have stockists in the UK, but Splintered Light and Battle Valor have great, though incompatible, fantasy ranges. SLM is a bit shorter and the figures are slimmer, BV are chunkier.

We forgot to mention Peter Pig

The Little Corporeal carry SLM ranges in the UK
Also, Eureka UK have some very nice man orcs.

I have thousands of 15mm Orcs/Goblins
Demonworld-very nice
Eureka(LoTR style)-NICE!
Alternative Armies-Nice
Blood Moon-Big But Good!
Tin Soldier-Cartoony but good
Battle Valor(used to be available through an outlet in Wales I beleieve)-Very nice
And now you have the various 3D Printed options. If you dont have a printer, which I don't you can find plenty of people out there willing to print for you. Forest Dragon have a great range of Orcs and Goblins but there are so, so many more
