Title: 15mm Jacobites - who makes 'em?
Post by: vtsaogames on 28 October 2023, 11:33:42 PM
Just got back from a trip to Scotland and a visit to Culloden. I know Old Glory 15s makes Jacobites. Any other sources?

Essex Miniatures have a few packs in their 1660-1745 range.

OG15s - dynamic Highlanders
Roundway (if you can find them) - solid, workmanlike miniatures - fit in well with Peter Pig, Essex and QRF
Lancashire - good, solid miniatures - a bit taller than Roundway
Miniature Figurines - not as dynamic as OG15s but good miniatures. Also, look at the 'Montcalm and Wolfe' range for miniatures that will fill gaps
Warrior (if you can find them) - a bit small and not detailed like OG15s but solid
Matchlock (don't know)
QRF (old Freikorps 15 range) - a bit smaller and thinner than OG15s
Essex - fit in well with QRF - missing Lowlander drummer (ECW Coventer drummer can be substituted)
Peter Pig (AIW and ECW ranges) - I use their 'Scottish' command for my Lowland command

There might be others that I've left out but those are the ones in my Jacobite army for the '45. Most of my Highlanders and Lowlanders are OG15s. The Royal Eccosais are Roundway (as is 1 Lowlander battalion). Many of the command are Miniature Figurines, Prince Charlie and staff are converted OG15s and Lancashire. My French are QRF.

Government forces include OG15s and Roundway.
