Hi guys
For fans of the BattlegroupNorthag rule system I've been producing and gathering together some useful files. There is a link from my Blog https://vultureswargamingblog.blogspot.com/2023/07/battlegroup-northag-index.html (https://vultureswargamingblog.blogspot.com/2023/07/battlegroup-northag-index.html) to a dropbox folder where they can be downloaded.
Kind regards to all

Thanks! Have taken a look.

Nice, but I'm quietly lamenting the lack of anything Dutch...

I take it you would like some Dutch unit cards ? I'll add it to my 'to-do' list :)

Yes please :)
1st Dutch Corps existed of 4 full divisions and a brigade, so a pretty substantial force, yet they seem to be underplayed in many games. Granted; they did not man the Fulda Gap, but the Dutch sector was one of the larger ones. Uniquely, it was also the only sector that was wedge shaped, so a lot more ground to cover when the front line were to be rolled back, which could potentially make for a lot of interesting, more mobile gameplay.

Okay, I've made a start tonight :)

Are there any 'unofficial' units you would like including in the set ?

Great Collection. Really looking forward to the french army list.

I would first have to know what the 'official' units are then; I don't have the rules (yet). I'm still looking for a cold war gone hot set of rules that will suit me after I was sorely disappointed by Team Yankee. I'm not even set on a scale just yet (even though I've got quite a few 15mm units already).
But I heard good things about Northag, so I read every post about it with interest. And then I noted you were not making a Dutch set, hence my question.
So I won't be able to playtest anything or answer your question (yet), but I am very interested :)

Attempts to open the files gives me the message 'password protected'. Do you need a set of the rules or possess the password to access the files?

Ahhh, situation understood. I was disappointed by Team Yankee (TY) as well. Firstly I prefer tank heavy games and with the points set-up in TY you can't get many on the table, plus the terrible ATGW spam that occurs. BMPs being used in ways they never would.
Northag isn't without it's problems here and there, but it gives a far better feel in my opinion. It's not a competition set of rules and better for that as well. They are well worth the purchase.
Have you read 'First Clash' by Kenneth Macksey ? It has that feel to it.

A friend of mine who has a French unit is crossing checking through it at the moment and making some adjustments to Points and BR. Should be ready after X-mas I think :)

Yes, as I say on the web page towards the end "
Please note due to copyright issues I have been asked to password protect the Army Listing and Unit Cards I have done. Look on Page 1 of the Northag book, the first word in the body of the txt, copy it exactly."

Chaps
For those interesting in playing the French in Northag, myself and a friend have come up with an Unofficial Army List and a suite of unit cards to go with it.
Links to the dropbox folder can be found on my updated blog page: https://vultureswargamingblog.blogspot.com/2023/07/battlegroup-northag-index.html

The Centag book contains numerous other lists for Americans, Danes, Dutch, West Germans, and more Warsaw Pact units.

I learned that after I asked my question. I just didn't think CENTAG would accomodate those forces that should by rights be in NORTHAG, considering their assigned sectors... :D
But I've got both NORTHAG and CENTAG books on their way, so I'll find out myself soon enough :)
