I finally got around to unpacking my latest Kickstarter, Boglanders from Ramshackle Games. I have quite a few odds and ends of Ramshackle products for fantasy, VSF and Post-apocalyptic genres in my collection already and I am a fan of Curtis' designs.

Fully backed this one, and looking forward to your paint jobs -- so I can steal them. lol
With the customizable parts, I'm hoping I can use Museum Wax so I can swap the arms between sf and fantasy.
I was thinking of using them for The Doomed, but let me know what games you end up playing with them -- including pics!

No gaming until the end of the week, so I have had a go at painting some more of the little Boglanders.

sed1106: Feel free to steal ideas, but I am not a particularly good painter! Adequate to get them on the table is good enough for me :D
I've picked up a tub of Tacky Wax to try swapping arms as I need.

Same ditto. Dunno about others, but I have problems selecting a color scheme for miniatures. Doesn't matter how well it's painted! (:

Let me know how it goes! Again, I have Museum Wax, so dunno if I'd need additional wax, but I'd like to know what else good is out there!

Also let me know what games you found were a good fit, and not a good fit with the miniatures. I find most rulesets that use dice I'm flexible in playing whatever, though I have some preference for narrative and prefer solo. Conversely, I go nuts if the $100+ set of miniatures I bought doesn't match a ruleset and vice-versa. Yes, I like Gloomhaven, but finding proxies is a pain, and I'll drop $350 on official minis and wait until 2025 to play my game when the mini's arrive, more like 2026 because I *have* to paint them. :P
EDIT: Maybe the post-apoc DOOMED game, alongside my really big Cthuhlu mini's? :D

Nice work! I got some of these too but I have not inspected them yet as I passed them to my wife to give to me as a Christmas present. I cannot even remember exactly what I ordered but I do remember thinking they were weird and interesting and potentially had potential for kitbashing. I did not buy them with any specific game in mind but they will probably turn up in Frostgrave initially (possibly in the Silver Bayonet if I can arm a few with muskets). Keep us posted with the painting progress!

ced1105: I do not go for games that demand "official" miniatures (and if I do I use my own proxies or self-created factions).
Obviously these are more appropriate for skirmish games, rather than massed battles.
The rules I am planning to use these for are:
Fantasy - Sellswords and Spellslingers or Frostgrave
17th Century Gothic Horror - Fear and Faith
VSF - In Her Majesty's Name or Fear and Faith (maybe Wolsung as well, using my own faction).
Post Apocolyptic or Sci/Fi - Mutants and Death Ray Guns
Bearwoodman: I got the full set and it came with a load of black powder weapons that would be suitable for Silver Bayonet.

And a few more! https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2023/12/boglanders-3.html

I painted more Boglanders with a mix of fantasy and post-apocalyptic themes.
