Title: UVS 20mm Post Apocalypse 31/12/2023

This is the first of the Mark Copplestone Gaslands Refuelled figures I have painted (I ordered them as they were released, so it shows how swiftly I painted them...).
Highway Patrol

No idea what I am going to do with them - I need some vehicles and buildings as well.

Now I have done the Proof Of Concept, hopefully the rest of the Highway Patrol will come together swiftly.

I have a number of the other packs based and undercoated.

Looking good.

My own painting has been glacially slow recently so I empathise with taking time to get paint on things.

As to what to do with them?

I'm running my 5 Parsecs game using 20mm figures. A mix of Copplestone Gaslands, Elheim, Dark Futures figures picked up cheap from various sources, big 15mm stuff and small 25/28mm stuff. The latter particularly for non-humans, after all how big are robots or aliens!

I'm aiming for a Firefly/ The Expanse vibe rather than Star Trek.

Do you have a blog or thread running on your campaign? Would love to read through how one plays out...

Real Life (tm) has got in the way for quite a while now but the initial adventures of the crew of the Freetrader "Destiny's Child" are available on The Wargames Website and the Pendraken Forum. The text is much the same but the comments are, naturally, different on each site. I've started sorting out more painted figures for the game recently and actually played a brief game this afternoon, no AAR though I'm afraid.

I tried to explain in the narratives how the mechanics lead to the stories but feel free to PM me if you have questions.

That Highway Patrolman looks good.  Looking forward to seeing more (and I did peak at the links you provided...)

So having seen Furiosa, this has been slightly resurrected.

I have dug out a lot of what I have and ordered some more wasteland Warriors, punks and bootleggers.

I am surprised that a character pack has not been suggested.

Wasteland Warriors with explosive spears might be useful as well.
