Title: Anyone in contact with Tangent Miniatures?
Post by: nozza_uk on 03 January 2024, 05:58:20 PM
Placed an order with Tangent on 1st December last year and I've not heard anything from them. Tried emailing tangentminiatures@yahoo.com & vlc02@hotmail.com but not had a response. Even tried contacting Sarissa Precision (Tangent use them to fulfil and dispatch orders) to no avail.

Will try and get the Mrs to contact them on their Facebook page as well.

If anyone knows another way of contacting them then please share.

Nozza, dis you get anywhere with this?

I've just seen they are on the traders list for Vapnartak in a couple of weeks.
Not sure where you are or if you're planning to attend the show, but might be worth a collar if you're there?

Thank you both for the heads up.

I got a reply from Sarissa "Thank you for your enquiry. We are currently waiting for stock from Tangent Miniatures, as soon as we have this we will fulfil your order. If you have any further questions please let me know".

Looking at their Facebook page, someone else has complained about the lack of email response.

Well, two months after ordering, I have recieved notification that the Royal Mail has a package from Sarissa. Hopefully, that means my Tangent order is going to finally make an appearance!  :o

Hi,
I also made an order with Tangent back in November and it came today.  I think it's taken quite a bit of time for Tangent to get their distribution set up with Sarissa, but my parcel came from Sarissa so it must be sorted now.
I ordered a set of the Krull figures and I have to say the figs are excellent - lovely crisp castings and the likenesses of the characters are spot on.  All in all, it was worth the wait and I think I'll be ordering more from Tangent in the future.

My order has turned up and it contained some freebies as well. Lovely figures and I'll love to order more. The question is do I risk it?

The two month waiting wasn't the killer for me, it was more the lack of communication from Tangent. How hard is it to reply to an email? I shouldn't have to chase Sarissa, get friends to chase Tangent on Facebook and on top of that I ended asking someone on Etsy who knows them to ask them.

If you don't want web orders, maybe turn off the ordering facility on your website?

Glad it all worked out eventually.

I caught up with them at York and they said the mail order issues has been sorted so good to have confirmation.

They seemed to have loads more on the racks than is on their website, do they have more stuff on an Etsy store then?

TwistedPinnacle3D trade alongside Tangent at shows. You may have seen their wares being sold.
