Title: One-hour skirmish wargaming rules - points system included?
Post by: traveller on January 06, 2024, 02:01:13 PM
Before I purchase these rules, I would like to understand what kind of point system that is included to build balanced forces? Grateful for any comments on this!

You'll not go far wrong with OHS rules. The book has numerous scenario games, each with a balanced force for each side. The Facebook page has various tweaks and suggestions too.

Excellent! I must check out that fb page  ;)

I wanted to have a fast moving skirmish system that could handle up to 20-30 miniatures per side. I was hoping that Osprey´s En Garde! could do it but after some playtesting I am disappointed by the unclear and messy rules. The point system is quite good though so I was hoping to find something similar but with better rules. I really enjoy the planning and painting of the forces  ;)
