Title: The Battle of Warburg 1760 (Our Christmas Game AAR)
Post by: Jemima Fawr on January 10, 2024, 09:31:27 PM
Here's the AAR for our Christmas game, which this year was the Battle of Warburg 1760.  Fought at the Wargames Association of South Pembrokeshire (WASP) using 'Tricorn' rules (SYW adaptation of Shako):

That was quite the game.  Too bad for the Frenchies...I did notice you cast several aspersions in the direction of the Légion Britannique...not fond of them, eh? :D

Cheers!

Not at all!  I'm sure that those vagabonds, cut-throats and ne'er-do-wells are perfectly lovely and nice to their mums.  >:(

"The Marquess of Granby has arrived!"

Uncommonly agile, for a pub.

Licensed to sell beers, wines and spirits... Bad news for any army...

Cheers.  It's just the usual bits of polystyrene under a printed terrain cloth, though we find that heavy blankets under the printed terrain cloth help to smooth the hills and ridges, meaning that the thin terrain cloth doesn't ruck and crease anywhere near as much.
