Title: New to Wargaming "O" group WW2
Post by: Commissar Glenn on 22 January 2024, 03:47:59 PM
Hi, I am brand new to wargaming. I have painted a WW2 Soviet Army in 10mm by Pendraken and purchased a set of "O" group rules. I do not have room to play at my place. Does anyone know of any clubs in North Northamptonshire (UK). I am at Kettering. Ideally I need someone who is prepared to help a novice? We all have to start somewhere.

I have three infantry companies plus supporting weaponry and some T34's.

Regards,

Commissar Glenn!

Welcome, both to LAF and to wargaming.

Great choice going with Pendraken and 10mm, my favourite current manufacturer and my favourite scale!

I’m afraid I’m at the other end of the country.

I’d have to say O Group, whilst a great game, isn’t the simplest set of wargame rules, it has a lot of detail to cover all the areas. Do watch some of the videos, while they aren’t how to play guides they will at least give you an idea of the flow of the rules.
