Title: Custom Movement Tray 3D Design Need
Post by: Belgian on February 06, 2024, 09:44:29 AM
Was wondering if somebody can point out a free 3D software program or a skilled 3D designer that would be willing to work out a certain 3D design for movement trays. I'm currently manually drilling 24 holes for my battalion sized movement trays (and need about 40 for the moment and loads more later) which are in fact two layers of MDF, the base layer and the top layer with holes. It dawned on me that I might be easier to 3D print the top layer in PLA and then glue it on the wooden base layer. But would need the STL file, any pointers appreciated and not sure how feasible it will be in printing time too  :?

I can do Cad work for you. I can also do custom acrylic trays if that’s of interest. Drop me a pm and we’ll take it from there  :)

Companies like Warbases and Pendraken will do you a custom MDF layer for you (i.e. with the holes cut for you)

Thanks but would prefer a EU based company for physical products due to custom charges.
