Hey guys, through my research of the First Schleswig War I've been interested in refighting the conflict in and around Ulderup on 6 April 1849. While finding the force disposition for the Danes is pretty clearly the Danish 1st Brigade with some units of the 2nd Bde joining in at the tail end, I'm having trouble finding info on the Confederate forces present. I know the Bavarian Bde served as a reserve (as the Danish record I've read mentions) and Hannover seemed to spearhead the attack, but the source I've used claims that there were also Saxons and, strangely, Badenese and Wurttemburgers??? Does anyone have any records they could give me that could corroborate or correct the Danish narrative? Thanks guys!

800 Badish soldier in battle. 1th Batallion of the 4th badish Infantrie Regiment and maybe the 2th batallion. Together with the 2th batallion 8th Infantrie Regiment Württemberg and battery from Hessen-Darmstadt leaded by Moriz Miller (Württemberg) "Brigade Porbeck" . 1th Battalion Leibregiment Hessien. 5th Jäger Corps(2 Kompanien) Schleswig Holstein. 1th Hannoverschen Infantrie Regiment 74. Hannover Jäger Batallion Nr10.

This is very helpful. Do you happen to know what the Wurttemburger infantry uniforms would look like? Also, what sources did you use to compile this force disposition? I'd love to be able to read more!

The south contingent who where send to denmark was splitted when the badish Revolution starts...thats makes not easy who fight against the Danish and what part fight against Struve, Heckler, Sigel . For US history Sigel will be known.
