I've just posted an update to the Joy of Six website detailing the games and traders who have booked on for this year's show.
As usual it's shaping up to be a brilliant day, with the brightest and the best in the 6mm wargaming world on show.
You can see all the latest at www.joysofsix.co.uk (http://www.joysofsix.co.uk)
We are still open for more games and traders to book a slot with us, so if you want to take part, just follow the above link where you will find all the relevant booking forms.
Roll on July 14th!

Always gets me down. I live in the US.
If there was one show in the UK I would like to attend it would
be Joy of Six.
-
I feel a bit sorry for myself each time I read about shows in the UK - there seem to be a lot that I would be into but attending isn’t an option until I win a lottery or two. Then I paint something and my mopiness passes. Joy of 6 definitely looks like a fun event!

Joy of Six is a brilliant show and I look forward to coming to this one ... gods and the railways permitting!

The latest update can be found https://www.baccus6mm.com/news/11-03-2024/JoyofSix2024Update/ (https://www.baccus6mm.com/news/11-03-2024/JoyofSix2024Update/), but for those of you who don't fancy following the link, here is a list of the games booked thus far:

Peter Ball Undaunted: Battle of Britain
All in glorious 6mm - a veritable feast for the eyes! The size of games varies from tiny to epic, the vast majority of them are for participation, so there will be some great opportunities to play on the day.
If you've never been to the Joy of Six, then make this the year to attend. Don't be put off if it's, 'not my scale'. This is every bit as much part of your hobby as games played with bigger figures, and, as you won't be tempted to buy from the trade stands, a cheap day out.

Oh, if only that was true ::) o_o lol
-
Having seen the games listed all the more I would love to attend.
But sadly, I am in the US and can't make it. :'(
-
One of these days I really ought to make the trip across the channel for this, so much of my work is in 6 these past few years. But boy has travel across the narrow sea not gotten any cheaper of late.

The Joy of Six website has just been updated. More games and traders have been added to the list, and it is shaping up to the be the biggest event yet. We've already got more games booked in the record number we had last year. The subjects range far and wide from Greek mythology, via a few rampant Emus, stopping off at WW2 and finishing up with a future far, far away.
The games range from the enormous to the compact and bijou, and the majority are there for you to join in and roll some dice.
The usual suspect traders are signed up with some more in the pipeline and we've got two thirds of our celebrity panelists ready for the afternoon Q&A session.
If you've never been to the Joy of Six, make this the year to make good. There is something there for everyone.
