I have an Ikea vitrine which Is a display unit for my best & biggest models.
Recently I cleaned it all and added a D&D layer.

The top layer is mostly fantasy - LOTR, Otherworld and a few Empress modern figures.

The next level is more fantasy.

Wonderful collection in a spiffy cabinet. I have snuck into one shelf of our family corner display with my OOTS figures. Resistance so far has been too stiff to move further. Could be due to their being thousands. lol

Are those Star Wars blasters metal?
-
No they are cheap plastic toys by a brand called Rubie’s.
I bought them a few years ago and did a lot of sanding and drilling to make them look more real.

For small-scale builds, using Bathroom Furniture (https://www.contemporaryfurnitureuk.co.uk/collections/bathroom-furniture) from dollhouse kits can work surprisingly well. They often have the right level of detail and scale compatibility for miniature scenes, especially if you're going for a lived-in look.

Talios is an official merchandise from the film. I found it on eBay by accident about ten years ago.

What a find, he was my favourite stop-motion monster, closely followed by Medusa from Clash of the Titans and then the Minoton (Brass Minotaur) from Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. But to be honest I have a soft spot for all things Harryhausen, the modern effects are fantastic, but sometimes just a bit too fantastic, some of the charm is lost :'(
Lucky you :D
