I'm sure many of us have got to the point where space is an issue. So I'm looking at downsizing the terrain trunk into something more manageable and possibly flexible. The current large plastic cubes and corner bits take up so much space it's a pain in the bum to store them. So what options are there for sturdy terrain at a decent cost you can easily fold away or take apart/rebuild quickly.

If you can find them, the Acid House terrain is nice, foldable and strong.

I've been looking at Anyscale Models as they have sturdy terrain that's small enough to store. Also you can put pieces together to make larger scenes.

What genres are you looking for?
And are you looking for building vs. natural features (eg. rocks)?
Battle Systems SF terrain stores flat, although reassembly is required. Some sets (eg. Shanty Town) are more modular and storable than others (eg. Fantasy Set).

It depends how good and 3D you want your terrain. Foam board/fabric/mouse options which are 2D but can look good - not 3D of course but work very well and take up minimal storage space.
You can buy such things or make them yourself.

Infinity has fold flat buildings. Battle systems has sections you put together and can take apart. Mad Bob Miniatures
