I have made four test bases for some crop terrain, method and materials are on the blog.

I think this terrain looks great, even if it doesn't resemble real crops everyone knows it's a field of crops.

   The point is, sometimes I think we have made ourselves a picture perfect world and lost something along the way

I agree wholeheartedly and have been guilty of not playing a game because I've not got the perfect terrain piece.

Thank you. A little more detail in this shot, taken during a game.

Though I’m not sure a close up helps with the illusion, which is better at normal viewing distances - the 3 ft rule kicking in I guess.
