Title: Source for cheap 28mm miscellaneous polearms
Post by: GARS1900 on 16 March 2024, 01:58:16 PM
Alright, y’all; I need your advice. I need a butt-ton of 28mm pole weapons; halberds, billhooks, morning stars, flails, etc. The more varied, the better! I need them as cheap as possible. Any recommendations?

If you can hang on, Victrix is set to release their Medieval Knights set sometime this year; they usually have a nice assortment of weapons in their kits so you may be be able to pick up a bunch of extras for next to nothing.

Perry do packs of 36 for £8 if that helps!

https://www.perry-miniatures.com/product/ea9-mixed-polearms-36-in-pack/?v=79cba1185463 (one bill, two halberds, one voulge and two glaives if I remember right)

1st Corps do a pack with some flails as well, but that's fewer in the pack

I’d post on the wanted section on here. Anyone who has built any of the various medieval plastic kits will have plenty spare that I’m sure they will let you have cheaply. You might need to remove hands / arms from then, but with plastic that is pretty easy.

I'd go with Perry Miniatures and 1st Corp too.
