Title: Wars of the Republic
Post by: Basementboy on March 24, 2024, 12:37:28 PM
Specifically, has anyone played it? I do generally like Osprey’s stuff but from what I hear online Men Of Bronze was pretty poorly done. Is WotR any better?
Thanks in advance ;)

Don't take my word for it, take Little Wars TV word for it.

Also, there is a discussion about Men of Bronze and they touch on changes to Wars of the Republic here:

I hope these are useful to you.

However, I will tell you this.  If you are coming from the perspective that WRG 7th Edition (and its imitators) and the concept of the end-to-end Battle line with no gaps is the be-all-and-end-all of Ancient wargaming, you will be disappointed.

Let me know if you have more questions about the game.  I might be able to answer one or two.   lol
