Title: Mesh
Post by: Argonor on November 20, 2009, 12:51:16 PM: I have noticed a lot of you using some kind of mesh to cover the windows of futuristic cars, for fences, end the likes.

What kind of mesh (auminium/plastic?) do you use, and where do you get it, please?

I have only come across some metal mesh used for railraod model landscapeing, and it falls apart if you cut it up (being actual thread mesh, not a cast material).

Yep in the UK we have Halfords who sell the stuff, it comes in approx A4 size sheets, not expensive, perhaps try evilbay?

Post by: Wirelizard on November 21, 2009, 12:33:52 PM: The plastic mesh used on screen doors works nicely; somewhere in one of my boxes'o'stuff there's a decent sized piece of the stuff, for eventual use in fencing.

Not as strong as metal mesh, but doesn't do a number on your hands like some of the metal stuff does when you handle it.
