Title: 28mm Protestant Reformers?
Post by: GARS1900 on 31 March 2024, 04:51:59 PM
Does anyone make the Protestant Reformers (Luther, Calvin, Cranmer, Vermigli, ect) in 28mm? I was kinda hoping to collect them, but there doesn’t seem to be anything specific, which I found kind of odd.  :(

Never seen any character models of the 16th century Protestant reformers. However Foundry has a few clerics in their 16th century ranges and I know Warlord have a "Scottish" looking cleric in one of their ECW character packs. An expensive way to buy them however.

Warlord games do a couple of useful looking priests in their landsknecht range:

It might be worth contacting Steel Fist Miniatures. They have a German Peasants War range they are currently developing, so I'd imagine that there's a good chance a Thomas Müntzer figure might be sculpted in the future. You could always ask about Luther.

I do hope so. After all, nothing should come between you and your Calvins.  :D

Head swap and a slight alteration to the arm to indicate the act of self-flagellation should give you jolly old Martin.

Thew2: I’ll have to check out Steel Fist; I forgot about their Peasant’s War range.
