Post by: vtsaogames on April 28, 2024, 06:35:59 PM
A second BBB (with AWI mods) game was played https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/2024/04/camden-1780-redux.html (https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/2024/04/camden-1780-redux.html)

Very interesting battle and report.  While they were beaten, it appears your miniature Americans fared a bit better than their historical counterparts...

Thanks for posting - I'll have to watch out for your AWI mods when they are published...

The scenario is mine, the mods are not. Yes, the Yanks hung on longer than in the real thing. On the other hand, De Kalb got a pasting.
One fellow on the BBB group had an idea: spent units that take another hit quit the field.

Certainly good for this scenario if not for the mods in general. Once I get a historical deployment result that feels right, next will be trying it with a better deployment, a la Cowpens or Guilford Courthouse. That should give a much closer game.

I'll keep an eye out here for any other reports you might post.

Any idea if/where I can the AWI mods?

Ask on the BBB Groups.io group. You have to join but it's free.
