I can’t say it had occurred to me, but now I need to know. Out of curiosity, are you planning to copyright the idea?

That’s actually quite a good idea; I have been looking for an excuse to get some of the Perry miniatures great looking minis, this would be a good way to game it. The best part is the lack of armour which can be overpowering. Medics in halftracks are also non-existent! lol
