Could the Perry Miniatures HYW range by used to represent the Teutonic order from the same time period? From what I can see the knights look fine, but would sculpts like the bowmen, spearmen and crossbowmen be accurate for the Teutonic soldiers? Google isn’t turning much up, hope someone on here can help out.
Thanks in advance!

Are you talking about the period of say the Battle of Grunwald 1410AD?

That’s right!

I've checked my usual sources ( ie the Osprey on Grunwald, Teutonic Knights and German armies of the period). Lots of pictures of Knights but very little on infantry of the period. I've just googled "Grunwald 1410" and checked the images, as I know there is ( or used to be a big re-enactment event there). There are some photos of infantry but I don't know if they are completely accurate of just re-enactors turning up with what kit they have got!

I’ve suffered the same problem! I have some Ospreys that I hoped might be of use but even they don’t have much on the regular infantry of the period. :?

I used the infantry from the French set

I still can’t find anything suggesting to the contrary, so I think I’ll do the same- I’ll make a start on the longbows as well :)
