Title: Flags with cross poles
Post by: ACW Gamer on 30 May 2024, 01:34:17 AM
How do you make 28mm flag staffs with cross poles like I have seen in this forum?

If you mean a vertical pole with a horizontal crosspiece suitable for something like a banner, I simply superglue/epoxy a cut-off from brass rod onto a flagpole.  Seems to work.

No, I mean the kind with perpendicular pole. If I could figure out how to post a picture, I would. Lord Raglan has one on his Welsh flag.

Do you mean like this?

If so, then it's literally just a shorter piece of rod glued on at an appropriate point on the staff. I file a half round profile into the cross-piece so it has a stronger attachment, but that's it.
