Yeah, I have. It's been a while so I'm not familiar with any of the updates but I enjoyed it. I've been meaning to get back to it.
It's very interesting but fiddly, a very different take on grand strategy gaming. The UI isn't the best but that's the only con I can think of. In my opinion the game is very good, very well researched, and very hard. There's a lot of intrigue and unique mechanics and you need to really come to grips with being a self centered, brutal, and short sited warlord if you want to succeed.
Nation building is very difficult, fighting is very difficult, keeping your men happy is very difficult, making your men actually do anything is very difficult. So it's incredibly rewarding to actually achieve anything.
I'd personally recommend the game, but I'd also strongly recommend doing some research and watching some reviews before you commit to buying. It's very much an acquired taste.
