A number of pics of the Italian Wars game that was going on in the "other room" at the Durham club last week.
A beautiful looking game between Conrad Cairns, Jon Severs and Sean Raine- for many more pictures, please visit my Just Add Water Wargames blog here:

They look spectacular, my favourite is the Florentine pike formation.
Nice blog post too - will keep an eye on the punics you teased! ;)

+1 indeed spectacular. nothing much more needs saying. nicely done.

The Florentine pike phalanx did look particularly spectacular.

The Punic Wars report will be more of a report of the weekend rather than (my preferred) close up pics of the armies- I currently have 81 pics to rifle through and edit as well as write up the report! o_o
Thanks. The blog has actually been going since the early 2000's but I (stupidly) closed it down during one of my holidays away from the hobby. I never did manage to save any of the old posts- if I was aware of things like Wayback Machine at the time, I would have surely done so.

Thank you for the googly words Tactalvanic 8)

Absolutely fantastic! Really impressive looking- And I love the way the pikemen have been based to allow for them attacking, very fun :)
