Interesting choice of subject: https://modiphius.net/pages/space-1999
The first series was much better than the second.

Fun. If only they would do UFO... ;)

Interesting, that's just an RPG, right?
I guess you're well covered for figures from Crooked Dice if you want to take it that way, but a plastic Eagle would have been proper cool.

Eagles over here:

Not cheap though.

22 inches long! :o
That's almost as practical on the tabletop as my 1/48 Millennium Falcon lol

Interesting will keep an eye on this, if not to play, but for reference.
When I was 7 or 8 I would have argued that the 2nd series was better :D, however now I am an old fart and have both series on DVD I have to agree that the 1st series was way, way better and the Black Sun episode especially is still very creepy, it bloody terrified me back in the day :o

Modiphius usually do STLs for their games as well so this might have them as well.

We might hope for miniatures boxsets like they did for Star Trek.

Nice but probably not on both counts.

no need, Crooked Dice already do them, Ainsty for the buggies

That is the size of the smaller scale model used in the filming of the series. The bigger one was 44" long.
The 1999 setting would make a different campaign world for "Mothership" or "Those Dark Places" rpgs which are much darker than the original background.

Dragon's Domain scared me the most (my excuse then I was about 11), desperate to find an excuse for when I rewatched it somewhere on Freeview.

UVS don't feel bad, I think I first saw it on a rerun in 1978 or so, Saturday lunchtime or something like that, broad daylight still left its mark on me :o lol, Mind you I was not quite 9 at the time ;) lol
I believe it was originally Space 1999's Halloween episode, a bit like Star Trek (TOS) Catspaw episode, but much more creepy.
Mind you, now you can't watch anything without being notified about flashing images, nudity, yadah-yadah! Back in the day we just watched it ;D
Thanks
