Having gotten hold of some free frames of the Warlords Epic scale Ancients I thought to use them to play DBA. It took a bit of work but I got things all sorted out. Then I decided to send them to my buddy who is stationed in El Paso so I needed to get terrain sorted out. It was an interesting project, even though it ended up completely out of control (like most of my projects). Vodkafan & myself have a similar idea. i.e. Using them for DBA.
We plan to base them on 25/28mm DBA bases. What did you go for?
We will follow your (as opposed to our) madness with great interest.

The blocks of minis fit almost perfectly on the 28mm bases and look so much more like a real unit. If I didn't hate painting minis so much I would double both dimensions of the base size and fill it with figures. The look would be superb.
