After a lone pause I decided 10mm was too small for my aging eyes and started to dabble in 28mm but I just can see me geting or painting enough minis to cover my needs.
After seeing quite a few threads on here aimed at 15mm I thought why not and got a few to see how I got on

Along with the humans I picked up some Manorcs
Planning to use them and AA goblins as the main adversaries

Those certainly look good! The larger 15-18mm figures available now have good details and are varied enough to provide characters for skirmish games. I’m looking forward to seeing your figures as the project progresses!
-
Thanks
I generally run songs of blades and heroes and it's variations so will collect based on their requirements
Hoping to find a few characters in particular a Ranger and I haven't quitedecided which Dwarves to run with yet

The first figure reminds me of one of the warlords from Wiglaf Miniatures, who also wears the Sutton Hoo helmet. They ought to fit in well with those you have painted, if you require any nobles or the like, or for that matter the warriors, though you may find the poses of the latter not varied enough for a skirmish game of the type you’re playing.

Very good. :)

That's because it is the warlord from wiglaf :D
I repositioned the arm and added the bow and quiver

Great stuff sir! I love 15mm and the offerings from Wiglaf, Copplestone Barbarica and Hornblower miniatures are really awesome - definitely on my Christmas list. Keep up the good work.

Awesome project. Thanks for sharing. Loved your 10mm thread too. BattleValor has some large 18mm Rangers that might fit with Wiglaf size wise.
-
Looks excellent so far!
I love that conversion to be honest, gives him a great skirmish/lone hero feel.

Aside from Hornblower, I have loads of Hawkmoon figures coming out from Eureka, which are the same size. The Kamarg will be especially useful as Starks, Arnor, Gondor types.

That's cool any idea when they will be avalible in the UK, when I look at the site they only have the 28mm range?

I knew that….More accurately, I thought at first it might be, but not having had the figure in question in my hands recently thought the quiver ruled out that possibility. That should teach me! Nice work, anyway.
