I just posted full photo-review of both the Samurai and Ashigaru sets, astounding quality and detail! Some of Wargames Atlantic's best work yet link: https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2024/10/great-big-details-on-really-tiny.html (https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2024/10/great-big-details-on-really-tiny.html)

A good set of photos to show the contents.
Have you tried removing them from the sprues yet?

No, this sample was for review and they are far to small for my ancient eyes to even try painting. I have to say that a very good set of side-cutters would be a great help in removing from the sprues and I would be forever fearful of the longer spears breaking (even to the point of replacing them with bristle or wire before painting) during play.

I’ve only got the Samuari and found them hard work to remove from the sprues - there are a lot of connection points so it took a lot of careful clipping.
I didn’t have too many breakages (2 or 3 weapons on 1.5 sprues worth of figures), but the spears look another thing!

Looking great but If I would want to base them in Warlord Epic style there is awfully smal number of bases from the box with smaller scale. I am starting to respect the warlord giant stripes.
