Title: A small civillian vehicle conversion (WIP 3-11-2024)

Saw this basemodel early October as a sci-fi vehicle in the Stargrave FB Group and thought, I can do that. So found one on sale and made it my own with some old (and very old) GW and other parts. Basemodel is a 1/48 Tamiya 7ton Armoured Car MK. IV

Went with a abandoned Redneck in space look. Plenty of scope for weathering. Minor cleanup tomorrow then primer, then paint when I can find the time.

Will work for any hard Sci-fi I suppose. Alien, Rogue Trader, Stargrave, you name it.

You nailed it, it does look like someone's bought the civy version of a military vehicle, the Humvee of the future. :)

Camera's with IR capability. And when in doubt, use the hunting/blinding  20.000 Lux lamp for added fun in foggy conditions.

It's nice to KISS sometimes. No, I'm not proposing....Keep It Simple Stupid (or Keep It Stupidly Simple) and just get er done. Hope to have an hour or so today to finish off the last details and get her primed up.. .
