Introducing the Sons of Anubis cult who will be appearing in a forthcoming campaign set in Victorian London using Fistful of Lead and its Tales of Horror supplement.
The High Priest/cult leader is a Eureka Miniatures figure who has been converted with the addition of arms from the Frostgrave Wizards sprue together with an added pouch and sacrificial dagger from the same sprue.

Next up armed cultists, flesh eating Scarab beetles and other nasties! ;D

Wow; the minis are individually nice, but as a group, they really stand out 8)
And that priest conversion is totally metal, because of a plastic arm now :D
-
An outstanding group, of which I think my favourite is the priest. Well done!
-
Lovely painting and as a group, they look superb. Reminds me a bit of that cult in Young Sherlock Holmes.

Funnily enough they were part of the inspiration for this group ;) :D

Very cool 8)
And soon to be very dead ;D

And soon to be very dead ;D
Most of them are already or should I say undead lol
-
Love ' em, my favourites are the mummies 8)
-
Nice group! Sadly though James is probably correct as they are vulnerable to the curse of newly painted units.
-
Anubis is a true rocker guy I see \m/
I guess he is listening to Powerslave from Maiden.

Awesome work!!

Beautiful work Nick. Im really looking forward to seeing them on the table. I really like the effect you’ve created in the book. The conversion is excellent as well!
-
Great work on all the figures, I especially like the Mummy's. Did you use a wash on them if so what did you use?

Very 8)

Washes and drybrushes and highlights. I used GW Contrast Skeleton Bone as the base colour over a white undercoat, then added more diluted washes of the same colour to some areas, then used GW Agrax Earthshade ink on areas which would attract dirt like the feet and hands and some random patches in the recesses. Then a light drybrush of a bone/linen colour, more thinned ink washes and a final highlight on the really raised areas with white mixed with linen. I picked out the hands and face in shades of brown and yellow for the eyes.
I think the trick with doing these is not to paint in only one colour for the bandages, mix it up with different shades and vary the depth of colour.

lol Yep and all that extra padding gives him an armour save lol
-
Excellent work. :-*

Truly terrifying, as is only right.
That last fellow could be me, if you added a white beard sticking out the bottom of the mask. ;)
As the FFoL system is the target, here's hoping the new book will increase the possibilities!

White beard and a paint-stained Tardis tee shirt…bigger on the inside.

Lovely work on these, the Frostgrave arms work perfectly with them!

That's a nice cult you've got going and it seems to be developing a... cult following.
Do you have a game ready to play them in? I'd like to see them in action.
