Title: DBACW 1st day at Gettysburg report.
Post by: ilkley Old School on 14 November 2024, 01:57:32 PM
DBACW 1st day at Gettysburg report.

I spent an enjoyable time playing the game solo.  The Confederate came close  to breaking the Union who managed to hold on. Hill Corps did most of the fighting  as Ewell was plagued with low CAP dice rolls throughout the game.  Lee was heard to grumble that had Jackson been present he would have taken Gettysburg.

A full report is available on my blog.

Here are a few images of the game.

Well now.  That was quite the fight!  Glad to see Howard's Cowards up to the task before them... 8)

That sounds like a great game and looks really good too. Those big bases make each unit look much more hefty.
