Beautiful work, they certainly look the part! I’m looking forward to seeing them with some paint on them, for future reference/ inspiration.

Very nice. Are they based around a block of some material or are they hollow?

They are hollow, walls are 5mm foamboard, with 5mm foam bricks added where needed.
Sturdy but light too

They don’t disappoint, they look great! Those will make an excellent village for big battle games, or a street for skirmishes. I’m looking forward to seeing them in future battle reports.

I love the way your plaster turned out and great colours for the stones.

Cheers, plaster is water soluble wood filler, textured with a damp brush.

Good to know - I have been playing around with wood filler to texture terrain.

It's lighter in the 'flesh' but I quite like the yellow tone too!
It's crafters choice yellow ochre, layers lightened with beige

Just yesterday I discovered Golden make a stucco gel you can mix with paint; I might try some of that.

The woodfiller I use is cheap, but works really well.
Everbuild is the brand.
Also, if you get the 'natural light' version, you can just wash over it and drybrush it.

oh, nice... liquid GS is very easy to work with and gives a nice finish (IMO) but yeah, you do have to touch up raised bits where it's rubbed off during the painting process.

I've used liquid green stuff for filling cracks on minis but never on terrain.
