Title: Metal Dungeon Terrain Manufactures?
Post by: Kikuchiyo on November 25, 2024, 10:35:23 AM
I've been working on a 25mm Dungeon and I'm looking for scatter

In particular items in metal, I know midlamminiatures sell items but I was sure someone was selling the old Grenadier stuff but I can't work out who

Other suggestions also appreciated

Foundry & Hovels should be good for metal crates, barrels etc. if you’re happy with traditional 25mm sizing. Otherwise, metal scatter seems a bit thin on the ground with the demise of Thomarillion & Otherworld. Hopefully, the fab 28mm-ish scenics from the latter will resurface with another company in due course.

Ainsty Castings & Dunkeldorf Miniatures might be worth a look at for metal set dressing bits & pieces.

This was what I had in mind, turns out it's an old piece by Ral Partha

Both alternative armies and Crooked dice do various bits and pieces suitable for dungeons

If cast resin (rather than 3D print) is acceptable then Scotia Grendel comes to mind.

If metal is the only option then Irregular Miniatures have sone bits in their 25mm range.

Scotia Grendel also have some metal bits (https://www.shop.scotiagrendel.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=43)in their range (some dungeon stuff on page 1 and page 11, so keep going through!).

And as Andrew says, the resin dungeon scenery is excellent: it's the former Fantasy Forge/Grendel stuff and has aged really well - despite the 28mm label, it's perfectly scaled for 25mm (pretty sure John used Ral Partha orcs and the like to scale it).
