Title: Stonehouse Miniatures?
Post by: Participant-Observer on November 26, 2024, 08:47:49 PM
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know the current status of Stonehouse Miniatures (http://www.stonehouseminiatures.com/)? I was hoping to acquire one of their rather wonderful steam elephants but haven't heard a dicky bird in reply to any queries.

Stonehouse purchased Games Plus in Lake Stevens, Washington. You might try contacting them that way as well. Not sure why your queries have not been answered but this is a very busy time of the year for retailers. Their contact info: https://gamespluswa.net and phone number 425-377-2850. Today is Thanksgiving, so you might have better luck afterward.

If they have any connection with John Stonehouse you can expect them to fake their own death and do a midnight flit to Australia.  In which case they are probably best contacted via your nearest Czech Embassy. ;)

Yeah, understood. I actually sent them money via PayPal, just over a month ago. I've tried twice through their online form on the web page and once through their eBay account. I don't actually want to cancel the PayPal money, as I believe that this is bad for their rep with PayPal but ... well, if they won't reply at all, it's what I'm going to have to do.
