My new series of posts looking at the work to complete a collection of American and British frigates that participated in the single-ship actions of the War of 1812 continues with a look at the USS President and her action with HMS Endymion on the 15th January 1815.

In the post I look at the models chosen to represent these two ships and the history of the action that would finally see the British Royal Navy capture one of the American large frigates as the war drew to a close.
