He was a persitent man, whoever he was, having managed to escape no less than eight times, disguised in various costumes.
His blonde friend, who had, by dint of curious irony, briefly travelled to the future, seen the film The Terminator and fallen in love with the main character's costume was less successful. He had to resort as passing himself off as an Air Commodore for the rest of the war having prophetically uttered the line 'Ill be back' before his failed escape attempt.
Very nicely painted!

That is some remarkable painting.

Nice figures you did there. I may yet still get them, in for no other reason to add some more civilians.
As an aside, my mom's cousin was a B24 navigator, shot down over Hamburg. He arrived at Luft Stalag III a month after the escape. I interviewed him for a High School project (back in '79). He showed me his diary from his POW days, and he had hand-drawn maps of Tom, Dick, and Harry in it, as well as other stuff. The Germans hadn't filled the tunnels in yet...fascinating stuff.
